Worked more overtime today, man I am beat. Lots of crashes and stalls, and people threating me with legal actions. Only 70 tickets today.
Having quota's is so stupid. I undertand why they have them, but from a customer service stand point its so stupid. Everyone, well almost, thinks that GMs are macro bots, that exsist to purposly not resolve issues. Most of the time we are not allowed to do anything, and 30% of the time the customer is scamming to get ahead in the game. 40% of the time the customer is being whinny, he called me this, she doesn't like me, I am NOT a ninja looter. However 30% of the tickets we take are good honest questions, but because we had to deal with the scammers and the whinny people we have limited time to help people and still make quotas. Also when we help people that usually requires us to give it to another person in the company, which because we did that, does NOT count in our quota, because its considered passing work. However, I am not sure how to get around it. If we took our time, then ticket times would be at 8hrs plus, instead of the 3hrs that they are at now. If we just hired a ton more people, they would need to lighten the restrictions on who they hired, which would lower quality, plus more employees means lower pay for the positions. We arn't talking adding 20 people we at talking about adding 300. So at that point the hourly wages would drop and the best people would leave. So its a catch 22 really.
Right now, after some math, each one of us is responsible for about 20,000 customers, thats a bit absured.
